Five habits that keep a random video chat fun, and exactly what to do when one is not.
A video chat shows your face and your voice; it does not need to show anything else. Keep your full name, home address, workplace, school and phone number to yourself until you have a reason to share them — and "she asked" is not a reason on its own.
Check what is behind you. A street sign, a company badge or a letter on the desk says more than you think. Blur or move the camera if in doubt.
Report and Block are one tap away in every call and on every profile. Block means the two of you are never matched again. Report sends the conversation to our moderation team, who act on it.
You do not need a good reason to block someone. If a chat feels wrong, end it and block. Nobody is notified and nothing is held against you.
The most common problem on any video chat site is someone asking you to continue somewhere else: another app, a link, a phone number, or a request for money, gift cards or "verification". Treat every one of those as a reason to end the chat.
FlirtMe never asks you to pay another user directly, and nobody on FlirtMe can see your payment details.
The women you meet here are real people who chose to be online. Ask before you assume, take a no as a no, and keep the conversation something both of you would be comfortable with if it were on a screen in a café.
Recording, screenshotting or sharing a conversation without consent gets you removed from FlirtMe permanently.
End the call. Block the person. Report them if anything happened that other users should be protected from. Then take a breath — you are not obliged to explain yourself to anyone.
If you believe a law has been broken or someone is in danger, contact your local police. Our moderation team will cooperate with lawful requests.
Read how the product itself is built for privacy on how FlirtMe works, or start a 1-on-1 video chat knowing what to expect. The longer read is random video chat safety: what to know before you start.
