The format · 1v1
One match. One conversation.
No group rooms and no public audience. FlirtMe keeps every conversation between you and the person you are matched with — a private video chat with one woman at a time, direct, and with nothing to sign up for first.
Definition
A 1-on-1 video chat is a live conversation between two people instead of a group or public room — a private video chat, in other words. On FlirtMe, each match connects you with one person at a time: there is no grid of faces, no waiting room and no way for a third person to appear halfway through.
That is why a 1 on 1 video call here feels different from a group app. The person you are talking to is the only person you are talking to, and she knows it too.
Say hi
Matching leans toward women, so a 1v1 video call here usually opens on a girl who is online and ready to talk. You see her, she sees you, and the first hello happens on live video instead of in a message thread.
Curious who is around? The video chat with girls page shows real profiles you can open, and every one of them takes one-on-one calls.
Two different questions
Random video chat describes how people are matched: you do not choose anyone, and matching pairs you with whoever is online. One-on-one video chat describes the format of the conversation: two people, one screen, nobody else in the call. A service can therefore be both random and one-on-one.
FlirtMe is both. The home page is built around random matching; this page is about the private one-to-one format every match opens into. The difference is spelled out in random video chat vs 1-on-1 video chat.
No rooms
A group room asks you to perform. A private one-to-one video chat lets you just talk. Nobody is scrolling past, nobody is typing over you, and nothing you say is on display for people you did not choose to talk to.
Your camera is your choice throughout. Keep it on for a face-to-face conversation, or keep it off and use your voice — either way the call stays private between the two of you. What FlirtMe is, in one page: about FlirtMe.
Side by side
The difference between a 1v1 call and a group video app, in plain terms.
| Topic | 1-on-1 on FlirtMe | Group video apps |
|---|---|---|
| People in the call | Two. You and her. | Anywhere from three to a whole room. |
| Attention | All of it, both ways. | Split between everyone on screen. |
| Privacy | Nobody can join, watch or record from outside. | Anyone in the room sees and hears you. |
| Moving on | End the call; the next 1v1 match starts. | Leave the room and find another one. |
Three beats
The short version. The long one is on how FlirtMe works.
Start a 1-on-1 video chatPress Start, allow your camera and microphone, and FlirtMe finds one woman who is online right now.
The call is 1v1 from the first frame. Her video, your video, and the conversation between you.
Stay for as long as it is good. End the call and matching connects you one-to-one with the next person.
